I have been involved in the Global Studies program at Watkinson since the beginning of my junior year, but my interest in the subject existed long before my high school days. Beginning in middle school, I attended events, classes and programs discussing the global and regional issues, including but not limited to culture, politics, religion, and how to sustainably benefit the world. This coupled with work closer to home with local charities has shaped my Global Studies experience.
