Debate and Public Speaking

Over the last decade, I have debated competitively, the last seven of which I was debating at a highschool level. Being able to compete in local, national, and international tournaments have been the highlight of my life. I have had significant competitive success at debate; I have either been the top individual speaker or a part of the winning team at 14 tournaments, including ones hosted by, McGill University, Vassar College, and Yale University, among others. l find incredibly fun and engaging to argue pressing global and domestic issues with other high schoolers from around the world, and truly believe in the immense educational value of both respectful discourse and oral advocacy
